Shooting in Morocco

6 days of fun in Morocco. We went to Morocco for photo shooting in February 2012. Leaving Bali on the 20th of February, then returned on 28th February.
More than 30 hours of journey we traveled from Bali – Singapore – Doha – Tunis – Casablanca – Marrakech.

Temperatures between Bali and Morocco are very different. Approximately 30 degrees in Bali, while in Morocco was 0-15 degrees average.
We arrived in Casablanca (Morocco) on the afternoon of 21st February, then went on a trip to Marrakech at 10 pm and arrived at midnight.

The next day we did a photo shoot in the area of the villa where we stayed Dar Kantzaro, www.darkantzaro.com (near the La Palmeraie, Marrakech). On the second day we did the first photo session in the Villa area, and then to La Palmeraie for the second session. After that we enjoy lunch at one of the famous restaurant in the new city of Marrakech, namely La Fassia. In the afternoon we stroll around the old city, the souk and try dinner in the area of the big square. A very memorable evening in the big square ( Jam’a al-Fnaa). On day three, we try to do a photo shoot in the old city (Medina), but extremely cold temperatures made us only able to do a photo shoot for one outfit only. On day four, we headed to Ait Ben Haddou. Ait Ben Haddou has been in use as a shooting location for several movies such as The Scorpion King, The Gladiator, ect. On the way to Ait Ben Haddou we passed through the Atlas mountains, which at that time there was still some snow on the mountaintops. The scenery is impressive throughout our trip to Ait Ben Haddou. We did a photo shoot for 3 outfits in Ait Ben Haddou, then enjoy lunch (Moroccan Chicken Tagine) on the balcony while enjoying the beautiful views. Our photo shoot for four days has been completed, and we enjoyed the rest of the day we were there to walk around and shopping.

On 27 February we left Marrakech to Casablanca. This time we canceled our flight from Marrakech to Casablanca and chose to travel overland. Two and a half hours journey by road from Marrakech to Casablanca and we left Morocco at 10 am to Tunis – Doha – Singapore – Bali (28th February 2012).

One more impressive experience for me. Hopefully there will be another new experience to other countries that are not less impressive than this trip
